We miss being in Canada, and miss our friends Ken and Ruth from Ajax, Ontario. They showed us around the sights, taught us a lot about Canada, and welcomed us into their home. Also, Ruth is on good cook.
We went to the CN tower, which was fantastic, and Niagara Falls, which was beyond our expectations! The Maid of the Mist ride to the bottom of the falls was so cool, and so WET!
Well, as I said we are back in the US, but are already planning on going back to Canada in the near future. That's all for now!The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-61021232984798332622012-06-02T11:04:00.000-07:002012-06-02T11:04:22.712-07:00Well, we are getting ready to leave Michigan in a couple of days to head to Canada. We will be visiting some friends who live in Ajax, which is close to Toronto. We will be staying at Glenn Rouge Park, which is near the Toronto Zoo. We have been in Michigan for a month visiting some friends here, and we will be staying here again in August on the way back from Canada. We have done some fishing while we were here, but no luck this time, but we have the next time coming back, and the water will be warmer.
The grapevines are starting to get bushier around here, you can't spit without hitting a grapevine in this area. We are going to go on a winery tour on the way back.
That's all for now.The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-39078358771192724892012-03-23T12:33:00.001-07:002012-03-23T12:33:43.635-07:00Computer DayWell, today is what we like to call, and not so fondly..."Computer Day!" Yes, Linda and I dig out those curses upon humanity that we have to have to do anything anymore. Linda paid bills and I transferred photos from our cell phones to files on my computer and back up jump drive. Linda got all the bills paid but one, then her computer went nuts and she had to use mine. She has Windows XP, which usually always works better than my Windows Vista, which was kinda weird. My computer is slower than molasses going up a glacier in winter. Anyway she got all the bills done ( she used her iPad )so we put them back in their prison in the cabinet above the sheets, towels, and washcloths.
We also went in search of liquid coffee mate, which sometimes can be an adventure. There is a shopping center a couple miles down the road, there is a Walmart and a Publix there. Walmart doesn't sell milk or other dairy products cause they have an agreement with Publix not to. I want to know if a small military engagement will ensue if Walmart sells a six pack of Yoo Hoo? Will the UN send in troops to ensure there are no dairy cases?
Still sitting here at Lazydays campground, but at least there is hope our parts might come in early next week. Also we can eat breakfast and lunch for free, and I can fill up my large Tervis tumbler full of ice and Diet Pepsi with extreme prejudice! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-8658150768198543102012-03-23T06:20:00.001-07:002012-03-23T06:20:20.858-07:00A day to rest...Today is the first day in about a week we didn't have to get up early to button up the RV in case it needed to get worked on, moved, or possibly both. We were moved over to the Lazdays campsite day before yesterday, then Linda had to do laundry yesterday.
Reggie is glad to be out of the waiting area where everyone hangs out all day while their RV gets fixed.
More to comeThe Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-62537287055640619432012-03-04T06:32:00.001-08:002012-03-04T06:32:57.219-08:00Hello World,
It aimed cats and dogs here yesterday. I had to time my walks with Reggie so we could dodge the drops. We are still in the process of getting ready to leave. I actually got time to air up the 5th wheel's tires between downpours.
A belated Happy Birthday to our friend Jackson, our Reggie with be four on the 10th of March.
We will be leaving for Tampa on the 7th, with a layover in Tallahassee. We have to get some minor repairs at Lazydays, the back up to Alabama for a while.
It's been really great here in PCB, and we met some new new friends, as well as saw some old friends.
We will try to get more content in here. Today it is sunny, no wind, and the birds are singing! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-64737695991775114782011-11-17T06:55:00.001-08:002011-11-17T06:55:31.833-08:00Hello world,
We have been here in PCB for awhile. I got lazy and haven't done anything on here; sorry. It's windy and cool today, and it rained yesterday. The dog park here has a new water dish, and the park is supposed to put a white hose on the spigot. Two dogs got sick after drinking the water; we decided we won't let Reggie drink any water out there.
We fixed our Sprint MIFI problem we had; we cancelled it and got a Verizon MIFI, which works! They are still hammering out the WIFI issue for the RV park.
That's all for now, toddles! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-77077334470884512802011-05-15T11:26:00.000-07:002011-05-15T11:26:10.745-07:00It's been a whileWe haven't put anything on here in quite some time; sorry, not much going on, well there is, but I just got lazy.we are at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. It's very hot here, and there is a very distinct shortage of trees here at the Famcamp on base. No shade here now with the low 90s gets you cooking pretty quick, and in July and August it is ubearable we are told. We will be moving in June to Quail Run RV Resort in Wesley Chapel, which has a lot of trees, hence lots of shade to park under.
My Mom (Tom's) is having a kidney removed on Wednesday, so Reggie will be at Camp Bow Wow for daycare that day. Reggie's nails sure do get long quick since we haven't been at Emerald Coast, I guess the concrete roads have something to do with it!
They have a Burger King here at MacDill, how come they don't have a MacDonalds?
That's all for now!The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-2232019653192601592011-04-22T16:24:00.000-07:002011-04-22T16:24:09.466-07:00MississippiWe are in Grenada, Mississippi. It was a very windy ride from Sikeston, Missouri today, but it is warm here now, and it ain't raining for once. Reggie met two cats today while we were walking, he ran at them and they didn't budge an inch; Reggie stopped real quick in amazement.
Not much else going on right now.The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-4186137888207440812011-04-13T16:51:00.000-07:002011-04-13T16:51:03.434-07:00What a week!Monday I had to go to Peoria for my annual VA medical exam, then yesterday Reggie went to the vet to get his teeth clean plus Linda's doctor Appt, then today we drove 58 miles to Champaign for both of ours annual medical Appt. I beat Linda out because I gave blood twice this week, from two different arms! But as Linda just reminded me, she has the Broncitis, and all I have is holes in my arms. The doc gave her antibiotics.
While we were in champaign today, Reggie got his summer cut, and got to play with his friends. Also Reggie almost ate another dogs face today; our neighbors next door had their dog ( about four times bigger than he is ) outside and it got loose and came running at Reggie, I had to pick Reggie by his harness or he would have chewed it a new butt! I so proud of my little boy.
(MY DOG CAN BEAT UP YOUR DOGGGG! NYAH NYAH!)
That's all for now!The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-38973112647091028282011-04-04T15:26:00.000-07:002011-04-04T15:26:50.280-07:00Hot, then ColdYesterday it got up to 81 degrees and was windy; today it's still windy, but it's raining and only 48.
Reggie went for daycare and a bath at Paradise Pets today. He was tired when we got him home.
We are hoping to be headed south again on the 15th, if all goes well. The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-44832879586972977782011-03-30T17:12:00.000-07:002011-03-30T17:12:36.073-07:00It's warming upToday it got up to 51 degrees today! We went to the Chenoa Family Restaurant with my Father-in-Law, and had my most favorite meal, Corned Beef and Cabbage; they have it every Wednesday.
It was very good food, I even have leftovers for tomorrow!!!
Reggie went out today and tried to get the squirrel who hangs out in the tree right next door, it's half his size, and I swear this squirrel is part mime, he can stay very still for long periods of time.
Oh, and Reggie tried being a beaver today, while we were eating at the restaurant, he tried to eat his way out of the gate we had him behind at my F-I-Ls house. He ate one of the slats out of it. He is okay; the gate not so much.
We took him with us to see his Grandpa.
Later! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-11302859725229436982011-03-29T11:29:00.000-07:002011-03-29T11:29:25.905-07:00Dump the Toidy Day!We went and dumped the grey/black tanks today; we had to go to the other side of the park to do it. We also filled up the fresh water tank, but that is in another area, since none of the water in the park is turned on except that one spot. We got it done in about two hours, we left all our stuff on the spot while we were gone; none of the squirrels took off with anything.
It only got down to 35 degrees last night, so it hopefully is warming up a little.
Later! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-49230344757057761872011-03-27T18:37:00.000-07:002011-03-27T18:37:58.465-07:00Still Coooolllldddddd!Still only getting up into the low 40s during the day, and still windy. Went to visit my Father-in-law yesterday, Linda and Patty, my sis-in-law helped him with some sorting, laundry, and other stuff; I watched Reggie. Reggie helped with some stuff, and watched me.
Then we got subs, and Reggie begged for some of my BMT.
Other than that, we are trying to stay warm. We got all our medical appts scheduled for April, and are hoping to be southbound by May, maybe sooner! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-67656059725556434872011-03-25T11:08:00.000-07:002011-03-25T11:08:50.426-07:00Cold!We are parked at Evergreen Lake, inside Comlara Park, Illinois, we got here day before yesterday. IT HAS BEEN COLD HERE EVERYDAY. We aren't hooked up to water because it isn't turned on yet due to the cold weather. It has only been in the 30s most of today, but the sun shows through every once in awhile.
We saw a herd of deer yesterday when we went in to town to visit the in-laws; Reggie wanted to jump out the windshield to get to them, but he was properly detained from doing that.
Right now Reggie is barking his butt off at a squirrel, there are many here.
Did I mention it's cold here? We go to visit Linda's dad tomorrow.
That's all for now, we will try to stay warm! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-80570284710882662222011-03-22T13:41:00.000-07:002011-03-22T13:41:22.501-07:00Stop-then go again! We left Perryville this morning when we planned to, nine-ish. I had to put some air in the front drivers side tire; the extender for the valve stem had a leak, so Linda saw it was flat last night. We put about a 100 lbs in it while it was getting dark, topped it off this morning.
THEN, we get to the RV site in Litchfield, and the guy says we can't stay there cause the ground is to saturated with water from all the rain they had there. So we get back on I55 and start north again. Linda looked in the Woodall's book and finds a KOA campground near Springfield, she called and we got in there. It's nice, but we are supposed to get some heavy wind tonight, and possibly tomorrow.
Later!

P.S. The tire didn't leak any air!The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-29982718687655500322011-03-20T16:30:00.000-07:002011-03-20T16:30:22.541-07:00Words fail me right now for a titleWe were getting ready to leave from West Memphis to PERRYVILLE, Missouri. The black tank was not emptying out. I took the paddle assembly for the line because I had trouble last week with that valve; that was not was it was not working. I took off the sewer hose a put a water up there and shot some water up the pipe slowly; we had to do it once before when it was stopped up. At first nothing, i quit shooting water up the pipe, then a little liquid came out, then it shot out full blast before I could blink! I got soaked everywhere, and we had a huge puddle of yucky stuff all over the ground and water compartment before I could close the valve.
A guy next door gave Linda a big bottle of alcohol, so she wiped everything down with it, all the tools, connectors, and other stuff that got hit. Luckily Linda didn't get any stuff on her!
I went up to the shower room and took a long, hot, soapy shower, then put my clothes in a plastic bag.
We got propane and left for PERRYVILLE about two hours later than we intended to, but we made it okay.

I sure hope all those shots I got in the Air Force are still working!?The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-79650897301369525662011-03-19T14:38:00.000-07:002011-03-19T14:38:51.390-07:00Cleaning DayWe did some cleaning inside the motorhome today, after which I checked the tires and straps on the tow dollie, and tires on the RV. Then I duct taped the sewer hose, rust ate through the plastic part. I think the duct tape will last a while, until we get back home.
We took Reggie for a long walk today; all the way around the campground, then he took a nap.
The gift shop here has so much Elvis Presley stuff, anything you want: mouse pads, fridge magnets, toilet covers, book marks, jewelry, (Thank ya, Thank ya very much!).
Tomorrow we leave for PERRYVILLE, Missouri. We stayed there before, and Perryville Campground is great.
That's all for now!The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-73154839097247345892011-03-18T10:37:00.000-07:002011-03-18T10:37:54.550-07:00HowdyHello from West Memphis, Arkansas! Linda caught up on the laundry, I did the dishes and took Reggie for a walk. It's windy here today, but nice and sunny. We figured we are about halfway back to Illinois, we started in Panama City.
Reggie has had a few really good walks here.
That's all for now.The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-65560164098521830892011-03-15T15:58:00.000-07:002011-03-15T15:58:11.094-07:00Hanging outWe hung out in the motorhome today. We have a killer WI-FI signal here so we loaded the new updates to our iPads; it's free and it works better than our Sprint MI-FI! Reggie has been pretty lonely here; no dogs, no squirrels, hardly any trees.
It was overcast until this afternoon, and a little cool out, so Reggie wore his shirt out most of the day. He would go out and have gravel particles all over his stomach and chest when he got done walking around, so the shirt kept him cleaner.
Tomorrow we head to the KOA Campground in Marion, Arkansas. They have a dog run with agility equipment in it!
Se you later! The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-68763833239771148862011-03-14T14:58:00.000-07:002011-03-14T14:58:09.696-07:00Biloxi to Canton, MississippiWe left Biloxi around nine this morning for Canton, it was overcast most of the day, until we got to Canton and it started to storm. The RV park is kind of at a incline, so now the butt of our RV is way up in the air, most times it's the opposite.
Right now we are taking it easy, but there are no squirrels for Reggie to chase, not many trees either! The WI-FI works real well.
Movie town RV park is okay for an overniter, but we are only staying for two, we are taking it slow going back to Illinois.
That's it for now.

We were stuffed when we left. They do this every Saturday, at no cost to the guests. Next week is pizza, but we won't be here! The people here are great, they keep the place looking great, and work really hard.
Also Reggie got some hot dog, which he will enjoy over the next few days; he even shared some with Frodo. Frodo shared some of his Waggin Tales chicken strips with Reggie.
Monday we move on, so tomorrow we prepare for the move, check the tires, put the loose stuff away, clean the inside. Heading up to Canton, a few hours up the road. The Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-17716260637566071792011-03-10T16:36:00.000-08:002011-03-12T17:40:01.435-08:00Tom, Shirley, and Frodo

Here are our friends from ECRVBRThe Traveling Triohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09371492364998883410noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447768450575594275.post-57556770391104320302011-03-10T16:26:00.000-08:002011-03-10T16:26:25.530-08:00Roll me out the door!We went to the buffet at the Beau Rivage this afternoon, with our friends Tom & Shirley Holt ( Frodo's Mom and Dad). We met them at Emerald Coast RV Resort; we met up with them here at Majestic Oaks, in Biloxi.
